Target and H&M

I always love seeing what other people buy for their kids to wear. My 5 year old loves every holiday and loves dressing up to celebrate every occasion. He loves learning about other cultures and I am more than happy to oblige. I am happy I studied a lot of cultures in college but some do stump me like Kwanzaa, other African, and European celebrations/traditions. Thank goodness for kids books and both of us learning about everything we want together.

Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day are coming up and this means going on the hunt for some festive clothes for him. He especially loves these holidays because they are so close to his birthday and he feels these festivities are for him. I sometimes wish I still lived in Chicago to go to Chinatown and take him to the Lunar New Year parade there because he would absolutely love it, maybe one year. Anyways, H&M had an awesome variety of clothes for Lunar New Year last year for baby and kids but this year their selection was smaller and a lot sold out super fast. I was able to pick him up some Valentine’s Day sweaters from Target and the rest was from H&M. I normally don’t get the baby stuff since he will just get Logan’s hand me downs but sometimes I do like splurging and with so many discounts available at H&M I bought them some matching outfits.

Some cute long sleeves for Logan from Target. I really love the heart elbow patches and how cute they had a tiger to celebrate both Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day. Not sure if it was done on purpose but super cute and even caved and got Scott a Tiger sweater too.
Obsessed with these cute H&M sweaters
So cute! I can’t wait for them to wear these!!
I do love how these sweaters can be worn year round
I do regret not getting Scott this sweater, the details are my favorite
Love this little dragon
The red clasp knot here is so cute, simple, and unique to anything the boys have
The matching pants to the sweaters to complete the set. Logan has already worn the blue set and wants to wear it everyday. He also loves the little touch on the dragon sweater and like me loves the little things
This sweater was expensive in my opinion but with a discount and $5 off I caved and got it for Logan because he loved it on the site
Blue is Logan’s favorite color and when this sweater was only $10 he begged for it because this is another thing he can wear year round

I also love that this year is the Year of the Tiger because even though Scott (baby) is just like me a Rat in the Chinese Zodiac, he has been growling since I can remember and I have called him my baby Tiger for forever so it is fitting to dress him up and celebrate even more this year.

I do tend to donate a lot of my clothes and the kids clothes but for special outfits like these I keep them for my future grandchildren. Either boy or girl can wear them and they are so unique it makes me excited for the day that I will be able to see my grandkids in them too.
