On occasion I happen to have a favorite makeup brand that has me completely enamored and makes me wish to buy their whole line until the reality hits where I can only realistically only get a couple of things. My consistent brands have always been Charlotte Tilbury and Rare Beauty, past brands have been Chanel, YSL, Hourglass, and Laura Mercier, but recently it has been all about Dior.
I used to own more of their lipsticks but this is what I have in my current makeup collection.
My birthday is later this month and I always like to buy myself something extra special. I have kept this tradition with myself for as long as I have been making my own money. I learned early on not to expect gifts from anyone but if there was one constant it would always be me, I would never let myself down. Now I thankfully have my amazing Dan and kids, but still I like to splurge on my own birthday to this day.
I was browsing online when I stumbled upon this and just couldn’t get it out of my head. I am a huge lipstick person and recently I have been all about lipgloss and more natural colors. I have always loved Dior’s Addict Lip Glow, for a more natural lip balm color and always have 1 or 2 on hand, but when I saw this clutch with the lipstick and refills I fell super hard because as much as I hate metal I absolutely adore gold!!! I debated internally for DAYS if I should buy it off the Sephora website and save 20% off or buy off the Dior website and get all these extra goodies. The goodies in the end won out and another perk about ordering off the Dior Website was you can also personalize your clutch. I didn’t take advantage of that since I do hope to pass this down to someone special after I get my many uses out of it and sometimes I hate my own name so I decided against it.

The package came in less than a week! That is the same with Estée Lauder when I order skincare from them and really appreciate how fast they are to get the stuff out to you.
I just love how the box says Dior and then they add another box with the actual stuff inside

The cute envelope had my receipt and in case you are wondering yes I will be reusing this envelope when I gift someone a Dior product too.
In case you did’t know I am a HUGE embosser! I love embossing my letters to friends and couldn’t believe when I saw this ribbon with the beautiful gold embossing. Also will be reusing this for sure!

Yes, I will be reusing this tissue paper too. I will also be reusing the box to put someone’s gift in it and love how pretty it is to use. If I liked more white I’d keep it to put treasures in it but alas I really can’t stand having too much white around me so I will be gifting the box to a friend that will love it more than me.
Now the real reason I bought from the Dior website, all of these goodies were free with purchase. FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Like what?! How did I get 3 deluxe travel size lipsticks for free?! I got 2 of the same shades so I will definitely be including them in my Saran Wrap game with my girlfriends this year and some of the perfume samples too.
The smell of these lipsticks has a perfume scent and reminds me so much of the Sophia Loren lipstick that she collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana many years ago. So good!
The prized jewel! I always love seeing what tape companies use and these circle tape things caught my eye.

Love that the mirror says Christian Dior and it is very easy to take out the lipsticks to convert it to a clutch

This lipstick is a beautiful, Red 999 Velvet. I cannot wait to wear it later and pray the shade compliments my skin tone.
OBSESSED and cannot wait for the holiday parties to hit so I can take this baby out. I am in love and even the gross metal smell won’t deter me from using it all the time.
