This past weekend we had so much fun with the many local Halloween fun offered in our city. I swear Chicago never had this many free events and so happy we live in a super kid friendly city. This doesn’t even include all the stuff that was offered the whole month of October.
On Saturday, we went to the local mini mall and I die at this creepy scarecrow that is there every year! I think next year I am going to dress as Dorothy and take a picture with him.

This event was at Cub Foods and the kids loved decorating their free pumpkins

Of course they both love face painting

My loot from the day after 3 events. Our last event we made it with 5 minutes to spare before they cleaned everything up so we ran from station to station and I didn’t get any pictures.

My front door nicely decorated thanks to the generous organizations that gave away all these free pumpkins

Saturday night we celebrated my friend Rebecca’s birthday. It was so much fun! I finally convinced Dan to dress up as one of my favorite movies.

The place had fun drinks in fun cups but they were super strong and wish their food was better.

The girls

Monday we went to Chick Fil A for a quick dinner and saw they had this cute event set up for kids. If you dressed up you got an extra treat bag and I was thankful I left the costumes from Saturday in the trunk so quickly dressed up Logan in his storm cloud costume.

They offered face painting, bag decorating, and treats.

On Tuesday, I volunteered for Scott’s class party and they had a cute candy corn inspired snack. Pineapple, mandarin oranges and whipped cream! Most of the kids loved it š

Scott showing off his school face painting lol

Trick or Treating at night was fun for the kids. Dylan looked annoyed but he wasn’t lol he just wanted to get candy

Scott loved this werewolf

Our pumpkins

We had a great Halloween and am sad to see it go. Dan has already started to decorate the house for Christmas and can’t believe how fast that is coming up.
